Who We Are

The Change-Makers Foundation for Diversity, Equity, Excellence, and Inclusion is a multi-disciplinary, not-for-profit, community-led organization established to serve BIPOC communities across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA)

The core business/field of activity of the Change-Makers (TCM) Foundation is the development of an inclusive, connected, and informed community through public participation in our initiatives such as mentorship, educational support in the form of tutoring, community highlights, networking/career support, and the provision of other integrated services that improve the lives of the most marginalized (Black, Indigenous, and Racialized communities)

We support the community

We aim to curate a safe and inclusive environment with services and programs that enhance the welfare of BIPOC Communities across the GTHA

Our Mission & Values

Our Mission

The Change-Makers Foundation acknowledges the impact anti-Black and anti-Indigenous racism and prejudice have on Black and Indigenous youth and young adults between the ages of 18-29 trying to pursue a career in STEAM disciplines. Our mission is to build an inclusive, connected, and informed community through integrated services that provide culturally responsive support including mentorship, tutoring, and employment assistance. The project is committed to advocating for the BIPOC community it intends to serve. We acknowledge that systemic racism has a wide range of consequences for Black youth who face social injustice and inequity on a systemic level due to the deep-rooted nature of Anti-Black and Anti-Indigenous Racism.

Leadership

Leadership is essential to provide sustained and equitable access to high-quality services for the BIPOC community.

Community Driven

We strive to be transparent and accountable to the communities we serve.

Quality

Our programs and services are evidence-informed and reflect a high standard of quality.
